Mountain Vista Builders provides limited warranty coverage on new homes. The warranty coverage is explained in detail on a video cassette and booklet provided to home buyers. The following general information about warranty coverage is intended only as a guide and is not to be relied upon as the warranty itself.

Year 1: Warranty coverage against defects in material and workmanship. Excludes normal homeowner maintenance.
 
Year 2: Warranty coverage against certain portions of heating and cooling, plumbing and electrical systems.  

Years 1-10: Major structural defect coverage, including 10 full years of insurance-backed coverage on designated structural elements of the home for covered defect.
